Erin McCoy Alarcon, Esq., is passionate about helping people resolve disputes. With 2 decades of litigation experience, Erin understands how costly and emotionally draining conflict can be. Using a facilitative approach, Erin helps people explore their common underlying interests and goals to devise creative, workable, and sustainable solutions.
Erin mediates family, employment, condo and homeowner association, construction, and other civil litigation matters pending at the Massachusetts and New Hampshire state and federal courts, as well as pre-litigation matters. In addition to being New Hampshire Court Certified Family Mediator, she is also a small claims and landlord-tenant mediator in Manchester, NH, and a volunteer mediator for the NH Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Committee, the NH Superior Court, and the NH Human Rights Commission. Erin is also a collaboratively trained professional and offers collaborative law services in the family and business law space. Erin is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is a Massachusetts Notary Public.
Erin received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College. She is an avid reader and enjoys hiking and being outside. Erin resides in Stoneham, MA with her husband, three sons – two of whom are autistic, an autism assistance service dog extraordinaire, and one cranky cat. She serves on the Stoneham Disability Commission and Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC). She also serves on the Board of Directors for Morville House, an affordable housing facility for senior citizens in the Fenway District of Boston. She is a member and elder in the Presbyterian Church of Burlington.
